Why do you choose IS over local school?

I am thinking about this "topic" over and over again for my kids. Would you please kindly telling me why you choose IS over local school for your kids? Thanks in advance!!!

Maybe you can check the past BK because I also read a lot and gain a lot of useful information and comment.  (It has around 110 pages).  Hope you make the best decision.
