覺得這學校怎樣? 因我擔心這校太新,晤知應不應該選這校?

KW02,

播道書院雖然很新,但是已提供很多活動給小朋友參與.如:親子旅行,聖誕夜,新年醒獅,寫揮春,校際音樂/朗誦,世界宣明會講座....,足球/田徑/拉丁舞/跆拳道/中國舞...等課外活動.......大小活動數之不盡.....,可以擴濶小朋友們的視野...其實你可以上播道網址了解多一些.

小朋友讀得很開心,老師用鼓勵形式教導小朋友,不是用罸或寫家課冊.校長很有教育理念和親切,各個小朋友都很喜歡老師和校長.

除了中文課以廣東話及普通話,其他課目主要以英文為主.功課量不多,但小朋友學習質卻不少.

我個人喜歡放長假前考試,小朋友和家人可以享受聖誕假和復活節假期.

- Their system was started to be complicated and
confused years ago.  However, they have been
improving a lot both in acadamics and sports.
-  Kids are trained to be full of confident and
outgoing.  Similar to international school.
- Outstanding in sports and English
- They have international reputation and standard.
One most promising and upcoming school in HK.

2) EV
- Overall well balance school
- Nice teaching staffs, environment, peer group and
  students.
- Focus on English, Madarin, reading and ethics
- Affortable school fee
- Safe choice and worth to invest on it even you are
  not Christian

3) PLK
- Traditional teaching method
- Experienced teaching staffs
- Used to be band one school in TKO
- Disciplined students

4) GT
- They offer the smallest class among four (24
students per class)
- Option for school location (Mong Kwok
  campus)
- Special training for talent students

Don't worry!

They just pointed out some animals or fruits and asked what was this and that in English. If your kids didn't know, never mind. Just replied " I am sorry! I am not sure about this one or simply say I don't know. If your kids kept silent, they would deduct marks. Just similar to other school interview.

播道有以下科目:-
中文和普通話科-廣東話和普通話
英文 - 英語
數學,常識 - 英語和廣東話(如遇小朋友不明白)
完美人生(宗教)-廣東話
Visual Art, Creative Technology- 英文和廣東話

開學初,小朋友由幼稚園升上小學,就算是中文小學, 總會有點吃力,你不用太擔心!你每天與小朋友重溫一次上課時學的知識,與小朋友一起共渡過適應期吧!問題應該不大!而且,小朋友適應力很強!第一學期考試後,你會發現小朋友進步很多!

面試時，是需要考英文及普通話,只是日常生活問題,順其自然,效果會更好,不要令小朋友太緊張!

我重怕仔仔上了小學無時間睇課外書o忝! 眨下眼重有幾個月仔仔就可以成為ec o既其中一粒小星星, 好期待~~

你小朋友 interview 的時候, 大概有多少人爭一個學位呢?

歡迎加入EC大家庭!

其實每個升小一的小朋友放學回家後都會很累,我想這是適應全日制的過度期.睇課外書時間應順其自然吧!

小一沒有太多專題研習之類的 project ,只是鼓勵長假期,如聖誕節,親子到濕地或嘉道理或海洋公園走走,小朋友寫寫感受而已.

我小朋友是參加第二輪(第一輪後才認識EC),聽說約4xx~5xx人,競爭80個位,這點不大肯定.

好多謝你們的回應, 我好開心呀, 當初我還很擔心EC不太好呢, 因為某些人說他太新了, 而且又比較混亂.
我知道朋友當中有些是EC收了, 但他們有些都不是名幼稚園的.

請問你今年又有多少人應考 EC? 考些甚麼呢? 我的小朋友在人前比較靜, 又不是讀什麼名幼稚園, 真怕考不到呢!

據我所知,EC只看面試的表現,沒有必收什麼名幼稚園學生.

EC小一生都來自不同幼稚園.個個都天真活潑.

不要過多擔心!放輕鬆吧!
