九龍城區入英中算一算

本區小六升中有 : 4491 人
英中學位有          :  1456  + 267
1/3 人為 band 1 :  4491/3  = 1497 人
理論上 band 1 應穏入英中,

我的問題是 :
如乙部選校如下
1.  喇沙 (20位) or QES ( 16 位但是聯系小學)
2.  華英 (115) OR 旅港 (103) or ..
3. 黃芴南 (113) or 迦密 ( 103), 丘佐榮(94)..

如1 抽不到, 入翻 2 or 3 的英中有幾大機會?
另如 2 or 3 都抽不中, 小兒是 band 1 頭, 扣 2 or 3 校的門有幾大機會 ?

以第二志願入華英及開平的機會甚微，你應在二、三志願填黃笏南、迦密或銀禧，第四填丘佐榮。

在這一刻不須考慮叩門機會，最緊要是排好次序先。

叩門機會實有，到時要考真實力（或真關係）。

英中學位有 : 1456 + 267
1/3 人為 band 1 : 4491/3 = 1497 人

請問從哪裡得到這堆數字?
小六升中好像不少於6000人喔?
又好像可供派位的九龍城英中學位沒有1456個喔?

What a risky game it is!
Wonder all top tier band 1 schools will be filled in first round allocation. If you are not lucky enough, you won't get a place in top band 1 school and if you have not chosen lower tier band 1 schools as 2nd choice, your 2nd choice will also vanish and ...so bad...band 1 students will likely be alloted a place in band 2 school.

The game (rule) is then:
How many students have already put 華英, 旅港, 黃芴南, 迦密, 丘佐榮, 銀禧, 陳瑞祺(喇沙) as their first choice? If, and VERY LIKELY, ther are more students than what are available, ie. >115, 103, 113, 103, ... chosing 華英, 旅港, 黃芴南, 迦密, ... you can only include ONE of them as 1st choice and they shall NEVER appear as your 2nd choice or 3rd choice...! Else if you are not lucky enough, you will be allote a palce in your maybe 4th, 5th, 6th...choice.

Is this what we wish?

有時, 冷靜的想想, 已有band1 的入場卷了, 要否還要冒一定的風險入 lsc or qes, 平平安安入了英中不是更好嗎 ? 但作為家長的, 心裏好矛盾, 好的就想更加好(方間都認為這兩所會好些), 正如 band2頭想band1學校那樣, 這樣想有錯嗎?

I fully share your feeling!  It is a difficult decision.

The worse scenario for me is shall I quit my place at a DSS and enter into this risky game?

So poor that an entrance ticket won't give us any guarantee!  If we choose 3 top band 1 schools as first, second and third choice, what if we can't get a place in the first round, can we get a place choice in the first 3 rounds!!  Highly unlikely!  The ultimate result is we ARE FORCED to put a lower tier band 1 school as 2nd or 3rd choice?  It is not an easy decision and it may not be fair to our kid.

Shame on our EMB!  They think of this lousy scheme because the senior officials is too old that they won't have children facing this dilema and they are too young that they won't have grandchildren facing this dilemma too!  They are just too far away from our pitiful parents!

真是好難decision, 還未決定第一choice, 考慮多兩天才算, 無論什么也作了最壞的打算, 己作扣門的準備

三次呈分回來是級11/165名, 扣門以下, 機會多大, 有無家長分享下 :

明報資料顯示九龍城網的"官津"升中學生人數為4491名(似乎未計直資及私校!)

如有直屬/联系小學的學生(聖家,協恩,瑪利諾,喇沙....等)是否不會跟我們爭以上之1245+267的位ga?如果是,d机會又會大好多?

去年亞女有同學係band1尾, band 2頭的邊緣人試過放榜日即去迦密扣門, 面試, 第二日收了。但係好多人話今年扣門位大減, 叫家長們唔好咁樂觀。

其實我們k3網已經好好喇。雖然話共有4,491學生爭1,456個英中位, 但係4,491個學生唔係全部band1嘛, 如果根據教統局咁分 1/3, 即係有 1,347個band 1生, 所以以往都有band2生入到英中, 都算唔錯啦。
