Different school has different criteria, some will give out recommendation letters much easier, but some have higher standard, like your daughter's school.
I asked the same question to two principals, they said that the principal of secondary school knows the pattern of different school, unless its a brand new school. He knows ABC school only grant recommendation letter to top 5 or 10 students, but XYZ will grant top 40 students. He will further look at the student performance in the class and in the form to gauge their standard, e.g. SPCC, QC.
Also some school will grant recommendation letter to top 10 and others only have testimonial.
Why you ask this question now? As most school will shortlist the applicants now, not much you can do! |

起碼個抬頭都要寫考果間中學個名同校長名掛.
呀女間小學真係獨立寫比間中學顧喎.
