Although I have no SH insider information, it's a general phenonmenon that (class average) exam marks drop at P3 with the exception of few top students staying at the 90+ range. The phenonmenon is the reflection of escalating academic complexity, though not proportional at every level. You might probably see another drop at P5.

小三平均分8x而在班內頭十名是正常的，請放心。

原因可能今次考試的卷深，還有因為中，英作文分都計算入平均分，而作文分數一般在70-78之間，平均分無可避免被拉低。

但全級頭十名平均分多數仍然是9字的。

請問小一中文作文是怎樣計分？我女說考試中文作文老師只給'閱',沒有分數，是否計平時工作紙分數呢？但我女平時都是90分以上,有時100分,那

The top 10 students in class will have the position printed in the report. Out of the top 10, the teacher will tell the parents the position of the student in class and if the parents ask, the teacher will also tell them the student's position in the whole level.
