St. Joseph College's Green & White Day
Visited SJC's opening day yesterday for the 1st time trying to find out first hand if the school would be good for my kid in near future. Here is my quick impression:
1. The school heritage and tradition do make the students pride and have a sense of belonging.
2. The school is quite small and facilities are very limited as of now although I heard some extensions are underway.
3. Creativity is probably not much encouraged based on the displays. A good example is the kind of game booths allowed; PS2 video game, gold fish picking.
4. One incident that ready killed my interest was in the pop music singing contest, one of the MCs was very rude to the 1st singer, who must be in Form 1 or 2 by criticizing/joking about the "little chicken voice" of this student, who should have be praised for his courage of singing in front at least 100 more parents/students.
After all, I was more disappointed than impressed.
