hi,

we went to the interview yesterday also. we quite like the school and our interviewer was very nice, she even ask us if we had any questions to ask her!

i hope my son will get accepted.... fingers crossed!

but i would like to ask u guys which stream did u guys pick for your kids??? we picked cantonese at the moment but we r still thinking??!!

We went there for interview on Sat morning! Do you know any applications for K1?
My boy is OK during the interview but he is a little excited with the toys and the stationary on the table. Any chance? I don't know because most of the kids perform well under my observation.

I think that may be not much dads and moms choose this kinder for their kids as first choice!
The response is not as much as the others!
I like this kinder very much and so does my son. I even asked the teacher if we could attend K1 in the coming year. And she said "yes" politely. Of course I am not sure if we will be accepted by this kinder but I really hope that the other parents would choose SC or KV instead of HKPS.

When did you have the interview? And what's your number? Just want to guess how many kid went there to have the interview.
It's a long time to wait----6/1/2007. Would you think they will release the result earlier?

In fact, my girl also like the school environment very much. I am now struggle between KM and HKPS. Can you give me some comments?

hello everyone,

we interviewed for k1 for 2007.

yes, i think they will accept their pn class first but i also hope some of them will go to kv and sc too.

after the interview, we really liked this school because from what i can see the school environment is pretty new and clean. and the interviewer also explained their cirriculum to us abit, that they have 2 bilingual homeroom teachers (i picked the cantonese stream at this moment), and 20 minutes of putonghua everyday, and every friday the 2 homeroom teachers will read with each child individually while the putonghua teacher will do some montessori activities with the other kids. she said we can't visit the classrooms that day but we can call and come on other saturdays, and she even ask us if we had any questions.

at first we didn't really like the idea of the 4 hours download arrangement, but our interviewer was very nice and the atmosphere of this school was good from what we can see so we think this will be a good choice for our son.

i hope we can get in!! all fingers crossed!! and good luck to u all too, hope we can be classmates!!

i do hope they will release the results soon, the wait is quite unbearable!!

Oh, I think they reused the number card because we attended the interview at 10:30am and the number was 155!

I apply for K1 local class because someone said that it's less competitive!

is your friend's child is going to hkps at the moment??

yes, i think under the circumstances it might be harder to get into then st catherine or kentville.... but there's nothing we can do now but wait.....!! let's wait together la..!

if they don't guarantee all their pg students a spot, then that is good news for us... u know why... see, the thing is that they definitely have room to fit all the playgroup kids if they want to, right, but if they say they don't guarantee a seat then that means they will evaluate the performance of all the children in playgroup or not playgroup together, that means they will base on performance more, which i think is the fairest method!!

which stream did u pick??
