Good Talent (Ellen Yeung). Pls. comment!!!
Dear all,
I have just enrolled my child to TKO P1 and gave up the lucky draw. Frankly I like the teaching concept of GT very much. But I still have some concerns:
(1) As a parent from traditional teaching system, I want to know if GT is strong in academic and if this lively style would be good enough for kids to attain higher level of standard and eventually go to university??? How's the academic standard in Secondary school?
(2) My child is presently studying Kentville and I find that this packed teaching style has equipped the students with a lot of vocab, math, and others, and is quite different from GT. My child is not a very focused kid but still be able to catch up with Kentville's tough demand. That's why I am still struggling if I should let her study in GT or some traditional teaching school, lest that it would waste 3 years 'packed experience and hard working habit'.
(3) How is the English standard in GT? We also got admitted from Rhenish (Lai Yin) which is quite strong in English.
Can any experienced parents share some of your comment?
