The one before last year my daughter interviewed Heep Yan. They required her to sit alone in front of a small desk with toys and pictures. I can't recall whether only one teacher sitting behind that desk to assess. Parents were sitting at a row of chairs against the opposite wall. The whole interview was conducted in Cantonese with my daughter pleading "apa, let's go" all the time as she was then not quite familiar with Cantonese. Obivously, she failed but we had no regret as I remembered clearly that when my daughter counldn't tell the "nose" in Cantonese, that teacher taught her "鼻鼻" instead of "鼻(哥)".
