我個女都有考呢2間, 但入唔到 skh.

不過兩者比較, 我比較鍾意維記(cwb)兩文三語o既學習環境, 對語言o既exposure會大d, 應該唔駛再俾$出去補英普掛! 由於我個女平時返學係講普通話, 所以都希望讀幼稚園時都可以用得番.但我知道呢班係好多人爭, am class 得40個位, 係會俾屋企人講pth o既小朋友優先, 所以我都唔太樂觀lor. :cry:

聽講skh o既課程都幾tough, 成績同派位都唔錯. 維記好似係淺d, 但spoken english應該唔差. 睇下想要邊樣.

我囡都係SHK waiting, 又 in 左維多利亞 (英普班 cwb), 維記一定無機會, 因為當日我囡好似啞左, 完全唔答問題!
我囡仲in左靈量堂, 都係等收左先算!

My girl's performance was satisfactory (around 75/100) during Vict's interview, but I don't think she'll get accepted.

Which KG did/will u apply?

I'll apply SPK, SH & SMM for my girl.

May I ask which campus of PN class your son attended few years ago? Harbour heights? My daughter is now attending their PN class there, and she's very happy with the school and teachers.

May I also ask in which aspects that you think SHK (Mt Butler) is good that you have no regret to make such change to your son?

I am in a struggle to make change of school or not in K1. My daugher has just been accepted by Mt Butler.

Thanks for your sharing!

How about the English standard? I overheard 2 teachers chatting and I guess 1 is an ABC. Do you think that they have enough English time everyday?

How about the Primary 1 result? I mean acceptance by DSS and private schools. I don't trust the "lucky draw" system.

Grateful if you could let us know more.

Oh God! You had been attacked before... so lucky that I haven't been attacked yet... as I also voiced out that Victoria is too commercial... actually a lot of parents could afford ard $4,000 per month as school fee, but the point is that, you could find a lot of school which could give your kid a happy school life even if you pay $1,500!

My boy is joining Victoria's playgroup (in The Belcher's) now and I won't continue after phase I has finished... the thing that I don't like most is that, (for the teachers I met so far) I don't think the teachers there really love teaching/kids from the bottom of heart.... now my boy is having his very happy life in the Woodland Playgroup..yes, the school is not big and the fee is expensive, but it worth...I could really feel the "heart" of the teachers..

Thank you for your prompt response.

My elder daughter is now in P1 and I can't forget how stressful it was when doing the P1 applications last year. Of course I understand every kid is different and luck also plays a part but I would really want to find a better kinde.

Ha ha! I don't have the energy to have 3 kids - actually 2 is more than what I expected.

Entirely agree with you that no school is perfect and it's a matter of give and take. And that's exactly why it's so difficult to make a decision. Anyway, as a whole I think I'd prefer SHK but for the time being I need to keep my fingers crossed and wait...........

VICTROY 英文very good! 因每班三個老師，其中一個便是外籍教師，外籍老師人數各校之冠!著重小朋友發揮，鼓勵小朋友用英文PRESENTATION!

活動教學! 不是死背書個隻! 如期望小朋友建立自信心講英文,建立學習興趣,自己看英文書，victory is very good. 如要求課程夠深!....中文深,數學深,...no way! 去sc or 根x la!

Hello, parents. My son is admitted into SKH (Central) AM class, but I have the feeling that the teachers there are quite insensitive and rigid. Am I correct? My son really loves his PN teachers at Canaan. I don't know if the teachers at SKH can form the same kind of bonding with the kids. Further, I would like to know if the teachers at SKH are accessible to the parents.
