My daughter advise that draw "Sunday Activities" (not "The Family", my girl clarify with me at our lunch time", she draw mother, father, she and our dosmetic helper are go out for swimming and shopping...etc.
Teacher ask her some question from the drawing picture individual after finished the picture, like "What is this person ? What is that person"...etc. Also, teacher ask her what kind of food she likes & don't like....etc

This is what my daughter said:-

Firstly, draw a picture about "Sunday activity".
In the next classroom, the teacher ask her to write down her name and ask one question about the picture like "what is this"? The ask 2 questions in Chinese (1) what food you most dislike;  (THIS IS THE SAME IN QUESTION ONE THAT THE PARENT SHOULD ANSWER IN THE QUESTIONAIRE) (2) which kindergarten are you studying and then another 2 questions in English (1) What colour do you like? (2) why.

May be they will compare the answer of the kid and that of the parent (just guessing!) I really dont' know how much they weigh the answers of the parent's questionaire. Anyone knows?

My girl draws a picture about "Sunday activity".
Teacher asks her (point to the picture) in English,what colour is it? She said it is pink colour. Then ask her what colour do you like? She said I like pink and purple.Then ask her why you like pink & purple. She said because it is very beautiful.
In Chinese, teacher ask her what activity about the picture. She can answer it. And what do you dislike to eat (SAME IN QUESTION ONE), she answers she don't know.

This is what my girl told me in the interview.
However the result is (ok or not), I'm glad my girl's
today performance.

Before I went there, I thought that the parent will be interviewed too.  The whole process turned out to be very simple and short.  No interview with parents and the drawing time for kids is very short, I guess it's only about 10 minutes.  I also struggled whether to answer the Questionnaire in Eng or Chi.  Would it be more appropraite if Chi is used since this is a Chinese primary school. Anybody know which language this school prefers?  Please share.

I saw some non-Chinese applicants attending interview at Good Hope yestersday so I guess the school should have no preference whether the Questionaire is completed in Chinese or English.

Just interested to know whether the school will really read all the parents answers to the questionaire (nearly 800 !) and how much weigh will the school consider the answers of the questionaire??

except chinese, all subjects will be in english starting from P4.

中文題:
1) 你响邊間學校讀? 你細佬响邊間學校讀?
2) 你鐘唔鐘意係家嘅幼稚園?
3) 你唔鐘意食乜嘢?
4) 你幅圖畫講D乜嘢?
英文題:
1) How old are you?
2) What color do you like?
3) Which kind of food's color is red?

Ask students question regarding about what they have drawn for interview, in psychology perspective, It's simple but meaningful  

I am quite sure this school would not just focus on academic but also care about the students' family and their growing environment.right?
