The following truth can't tell anything, just a hint for you.

I have two "tong" brothers who are the same family and certainly grow up at the same background.

Now they both are famous University graduate in Canada now.

(Elder Brother) York kinder => La Salle

(Younger Brother) Luk Yeung kinder (in Tsuen Wan) => 啟思 primary

As per their mom, she thinks younger one is much more brilliant and creative....so hard to say...

May be the good point is from himself instead of from his school..

It's actually a profit-making organisation without govt/church subsidy, so the fees are so high comparing to other private schools. The teaching method is not traditional but they don't tend to push and presurised students too much. By the way, they do not have secondary schools!

I've heard my colleague's daughter studying there in P2, she is happy!

My boy is now studying in P4 at Creative. He has been there since P1. He enjoyed school very much. If he gets sick, he will feel sad that he cannot go to school. Even when he is required to attend med. appt on school day, he insists that we bring him back to school by taxi.

What is the magic of the school? I think it's the more relaxed syllabus and caring teachers. Good points are that the kids there are very cheerful, outspoken, confident, friendly and innovative. But quite frankly, they are weaker in English -- spelling, grammar. Chinese and Math are OK.

親愛的讀者：

本校收到一封由Paula Siu戶口發出，沒有署名的電郵，內容與此相同。我們在翻查家長名冊後，發現本校並沒有一位名為Paula Siu的家長。電郵中提出各項資料亦與實際情況有所出入。

雖然如此，由於本校作風一向開明，也十分重視意見，故亦正視有關事件。經過與教師、家教會家長執委的研究及討論後，認為必須澄清以下事情：

1. 學校名冊內並沒發出郵件人士的姓名
2. 電郵中提出各項資料與實際情況有所不符
3. 本校教師歷來以關愛學生著稱，從不體罰學生
4. 學校重視課程發展，成效顯著，獲家長及教育界認同
5. 學校一向著重家校溝通和合作，對於家長的意見十分重視，故此我們亦邀請發出電郵的蕭女士跟我們聯絡以便了解情況。

最後，本校家教會主席亦將回覆有關電郵，以家長的身份作出回應，支持學校。本校家教會亦同時會邀請蕭女士跟他們聯繫。

本人為今屆啟思小學家教會主席，於本月二日早上收到校方的電郵，得悉一位自稱蕭女士的投訴，本人已於當晚九時將以下內容回覆蕭女士，但至今蕭女士仍未與我們聯絡。由於閣下投訴的內容與蕭女士的投訴的內容一模一樣，所以特再次就此信件回覆，希望能將此事盡快解決。

作為現任家教會主席及一名家長，本人就此投訴信甚為關注，於本月二日立即連同五位家教會家長委員在中午時分與校方會面，及親自會見有關老師們，以了解閣下電郵內容與事實的情況。

經初步了解後，現特回電郵與閣下聯絡，今屆家教會的首次會議已在十一月二十七日舉行。會議中，校方主動在校方報告中提及有部份家長對英文科教學改革的意見，亦匯報了對此事的回應及處理方法，當時各委員亦滿意校方的處理方法，並會繼續跟進。再者，校方也就此改革進行了一次問卷調查，調查結果顯示九成家長是支持改革，而家教會亦支持校方的英文科教學改革的理念，我們相信緊密的家校聯繫才能有效地進一步推展。

家教會的其中一個角色是作為家長與校方的橋樑，本人在過往一年亦是家教會委員之一，透過與校方合辦的活動中，本人不但感受到校長、副校長、主任及老師們對教育的熱誠及無私的奉獻，而且體會到校方一直抱着開明的態度，與家長在課程改革及各方面保持溝通。使我相信家長與校方是不會有事情不能解決的，而須要透過傳媒來解決，當中是否藏有誤會呢！就此家教會希望可以、也有責任速成閣下與校方直接及坦誠的溝通。

最後，小女亦是Mrs. Kaur的學生。所以希望能盡快親自與妳會面，分享一些體驗及了解當中事故，而作出適當的跟進。

本人希望投訴之前在貴報刊登招生的啟思小學。

我兒子今年在啟思小學就讀六年級。一向對英文科都不是太吸引，但因為可以和同班同學一起學習，所以仍然對英文的興趣較好。但今年學校發展小姐英語教學，可惜他們是由學生最後的一次考試成績來分組，分別分為 Fast Learners, Average Learners and Slow Learners. 雖然學校用顏色來分組但是在本來由五年級一起學習的同學，成績好的在 Red Group 而成績差在 Purple Group. 這樣的標榜令很多學生對英文失去興趣。最離譜的是今年學校聘請了印巴藉的中年女士來教這班 "SLOW LEARNERS". 這班學生對他很重的印度口音完全聽不明白，而那位外籍老師 Mrs. Kaur 經常趕學生離開課室到教員室罰企。在教員室被罰企除了是體罰外，學生在罰企期間經常被其中一位外籍老師Miss Oxford責罵，令兒子對英文及啟思失去信心。現在情況更加惡劣，現在 Mrs. Kaur 授課的時候，一定會有一位英文科主任, Miss Oxford, 陳桂英主任，Miss Ng, 或訓導任一起上課。這樣我們一班家長都不明白學生的手法。學生現在感覺要兩位老師一起上課究竟是學生有問題還是這位外籍老師有問題呢？

還有很多荒謬的事情常常都發生在外籍老師任教的課堂上，例如去年當兒子就讀五年級時，Miss Oxford 要學生做一份關於 Spider 的 Project. 她要兒子在復活節假期裏活捉一隻 spider 放在樽內帶回校。我們已反應對此事不滿但 Miss Oxford 說她覺得沒有問題。

不過較嚴重仍然是開學至今已 3 個月了，但我的兒子越來越不喜歡上英文課，越來越不喜歡啟思，這對我們家長是一件很傷心的事。我們多次向學校反應但陳校長只是偏幫英文科老師，絶對沒有理會我們家長及學生的感受。而且校長和繆副校長不停對學生訓話，責怪學生不尊重外界老師和種族歧視，這是十分可恥。校方不但沒有解決事件，反而不停責備學生，這令我們家長對啟思小學徹底失去信心。

我們一班家已用盡所有辦法但仍解決不到這問題，希望貴報能伸出緩手，救救我們一些每月交 $6000元學費的家長。我們很想轉校但兒子已經六年級了，現在又進行升中事宜，轉校是無可能的。

我們不想再有無辜學生及家長受到這些折磨，固希望貴報能替我們一班可憐的學生及家長討回公道及代為更進。

wa, catch a real spider ? is it real ar? if is true,quite dangerous wo!

my son is also studying in this school hope they won't ask him to do dangerous crazy things like that la. all kids there seems very polite but my son did told me a older woman net is mean , very hard on them don't know if that's the one ask kids to catch spider or someone else le? i will ask him her name later. actually school fee is bit high but the most important is quality and our another son is studying at UK and he really enjoys it there and we are also considering sending this one to UK with his brother when he finished his p6 here at HK.earning $$ is difficult but spend most of them all on our children la.

My two nephews are from Creative Primary. The elder one had already graduated and the 2nd one will be graduated this summer. Their English standard is not high. The elder one is studying in a Chinese secondary school. The 2nd one tried to apply for its secondary school (which is an English secondary school), the interviewer's immediate comment was she might have difficulty if English is the teaching media. Of course, it might be the student's but not the school's problem.
