請問你地或你地同學仔既mami是否大部份都係要全職揍小朋友至可以應付到學校既需要?

我是在職媽媽，我仔小二，都可以應付到。不過要及早訓練小朋友自己做功課，提早幫他溫默書測驗（利用weekend)。

Maybe it's not a matter of 名校, but it is your expectation.

If you don't mind to have their homework done wrong (or even forget to do) and fail in the dictation, test or exam., then nothing to worry about. Otherwise, I think our assistance at the early stage would be good for every primary student. Of course, it's a hard time for all working parents, like me.

呢個都唔係名唔名校既問題，
有D 好少功課既學校，某D 學生都係攪唔掂的。
我覺得現今大多數小朋友自理能力都差D，
好倚賴，因為而家實在太保護了。
小學早年如果由媽咪揍，咁跟得貼D，
叫住篤住迫到即刻做啦！在職媽咪既問題，
全要睇個別小朋友，自理能力好自己做功課，
自理能力唔好，懶懶閒等媽咪放工先做，
咁咪大家都辛苦囉！夜晚做得功課又溫唔到書。
講真，我仔學校考得前嗰D，媽咪全職揍仔居多，
當然亦有好多好叻既，媽咪返工一樣考得好好既，
不過一定係有全職媽媽考得好既比數大D。

我都覺得唔係名校既問題，　我係在職媽咪，個囡就係工人睇，　我都發覺個女真係自理同自律能力無其他全職媽咪既小朋友咁好，　因為小朋友年紀細時會較為聽話，　所以有媽咪響身邊用心跟貼的，　真係好的!!!!

凡事都有定期、天下萬務都有定時．生有時、死有時．

I call "famus school" is just for simplicity. What I really mean is schools which have large competition among classmates.

If, let say in a school which has large competition (lossing one mark will affect your existence in school) and the game required all the parent are full time tutor, then I have to re-consider if I can afford.

我都曾經有你的想法, 後來想真D其實讀書好睇個人, 即是你即使做全職媽咪, 幫他溫習, 可能他考出來的成績都差不多, 有些事情你以為是這樣, 其實是沒有保証的, 誰能告訴你, 你不出來工作, 他便一定成績彪炳

I think so call "famous schools" are very demanding to the student's homework, participation, and family support.

My daughter's reading scheme invloves internet task (how can a P1 girl get on to the net herself?), the books she got from school seems very difficult and I even have to look a the dictionary to find out some of the words. How can she read it herself? From many areas, parents play a very important role.

I am also a working mum and it is very tough for us.

Hi mattsmum

My girl needs to read 1 English and 1 Chinese story book every week and are distributed by the School. The book she got last week is talking about how animals hide in the nature.  the name is like "In Hiding", I forgot the whole name.  There were some terms that I even not heard of before.

But her school books for English are OK, with only all the simple words.
