My baby is almost 4 months now and I want to bring her to Kinder U to take the Baby Intelligence Program, anyone knows if it is good?

I think its pretty good, my baby is almost 4 mths and attended 2 lessons already! I bought the crawling track and now he is crawling downhill by himself without I hold his feet! I bought the flash cards also but I am still waiting Kinder-U to organise a lesson to teach me how to flash!

Wa, I was so excited after I read your comments CherylMommy! I am so amazed that your baby can crawl when he is only 4 months old! My girl is 4 months now and cannot even turn around her body yet!!! People said that it is better the longer babies crawl, it is good for their brain development, coordination, etc.

So I called KinderU immediately after I see your reply. The crawling track costs $1980 +$100 for the wooden base. I went to see the sample and it is really just a track, made of I don't know what the material called, its soft plastic which those ABC plastic floor tiles are made of, with a short fence on the side (the design is like a diaper changing mat, taller on the sides). It is quite expensive for just 2 pieces of 'plastic' wo! Do they teach you how to use that track to teach baby to crawl?
The staff said they are having stocktake now so even if I want to buy, I can only get them after Easter.

Anyway, back to the IM class. I have enrolled for a trial class. I am so looking forward to it :)

I heard that GC has also got flash cards and they are less expensive than KinderU. I read under other topics here in baby-kingdom that some moms even
buy plain paper and make their own flash cards! GC has lessons to teach the buyers how to flash too!

hello all,

I am not opposed to KinderU or the products they sold, but I am just curious why you have to spend $ to teach a baby to crawl?

From my experience, your baby will know how to crawl automatically when u place her on the soft plastic tiles with enough space and supervision... after a while, she knows how to crawl freely on the floor at home (my baby just crawled anywhere at home)... i just think the crawling track is quite expensive wor... just my opinion... no offence.

According to my understanding on "如何使寶寶身強體健" by Glenn Doman, crawling track is for new born baby, so that he can sleep on it and practise crawling whenever he is awake. It is no longer useful after the baby is 3 to 4 months old as they normally can crawl on every surface if you give him sufficient chance to practise.

Maybe you can save money to buy books to read with your baby, which seem to be a better investment, unless you plan to have another baby.

For cards with word or picture, I always suggest parent to make it themselves if they have time. Once you have made it, you will devote yourself in teaching your baby and hence your baby will benefit for your devotion. Teaching material preparation is time consuming but it is worth to do so. Your baby will love them.

Hi SkyPenguin,
I suggest you to listen to Mrs/Mr Ho seminar first then make decision.  Its because I also have a 4 1/2 yrs old daughter and I dont have many time to find material to make a crawling track for my 4 mths old son.  Yes, the track will be useless after couple months later and I have friends are having babies so I can also pass it to my friends.  There are stripes on the side of the crawling track and I usually put a box under the track to make him crawls downhill.  I just want to try my best to help his development.
Kinder-U is Glenn Doman's Gentle Revolution Press exclusive distributor of his teaching materials in Hong Kong so I will only send my son to Kinder-U!  I know Kinder-U lessons are expensive but I trust in Mrs Ho and if there is only 幾十蚊 difference per lesson I will pick Kinder-U
GC is not using Glenn Doman material to teach!

I agree with you but I really dont have much time and I can use my older gal's material to teach my son also so I dont need to buy new books for my son. I am also making Chinese flash card for my sons.......the crawling track is just help him to start. The stripes on the sides help a lot.

I want to know whether the flash cards u bought from KinderU are the same as the ones they use in IM class?

If yes, I think I'd better buy the flash cards from KinderU as I plan to send my baby to the IM class, so she is learning the same sets of flash cards at KinderU and at home.

I think I won't buy the crawling track la, doesn't seem very worth it. I will make her a home-made crawling track

The more you put your baby on stomach, the earlier that your baby learns how to crawl. Crawling should be an inborn ability of each baby as they are suppose to crawl to find food. The crawling track is really unnecessary, especially when your baby is already 4 months old.

If I dont put a box under the crawling track to make it downward, he couldn't crawl/he tried but not moving. His weight now is more than the double of his born weight. Can you imagine yourself double up your weight in 4 months and crawl/walk around, isn't it hard? The crawling track is helping/encourage him to start! Maybe the crawling track is not necessary and I didn't suggest anyone to buy or said it is a must have for baby, I just said I bought it. I don't think you bought everything NECESSARY, right?? So what is the problem if I bought it?

It's really amazing that your 4-month baby can crawl already. My baby is 3 months old and can't even lift his head when put on his tummy :-| Could you please tell me more about Kinder U? This is my first time hear about it and I'm very interested to know more. Do they have a website? Thanks.

My son started lesson when he was 3 months and he is 9 months old now! He loves the lesson so much!! I dont think your baby can join his class because his classmates are all fr 9mths to 1 year, but I will suggest you his teacher Miss Sue. She is very stable and speak loud clear native English, that is very important to me! We are very happy with the class so far!

I sugguest you to call Kinder-U and listen their seminar and take the trial class. I didnt think I will send my son to class so early but I was there every weekend (my 5 yrs old gal studying there) and I joined the seminar their has the trial class than started sending him to the class. He loves the class and can focus on the flash card very well! He can grab the Brachiation Ladder (monkey bar) by himself! Since he enjoys the calls so much we are (planning) to send him there twice a week!
