| Gee...... don't know how to type in Chinese, U may find it hard to understand what I'm trying to tell u. Anyway, U can try to cut up the word by its 'bu shou'. Every single chinese word has its meaning and it tells u by the 'bu shou'. E.g. 'hand' - take, hit, grab....., 'water' - sea, river, thirsty...., and 'wood' or 'flower' for all the plants...etc. Ask him to tell u the meaning of the word and think of the 'bu shou' first. E.g. 'shark' is the combination of 'sand' and 'fish', 'sand' tells u how to read the word and 'fish' tells you it's a kind of fish living in the sea. Just explain the words in this way to make it easier to understand and fun to learn. |
