Do you worry your new P.1 child in primary school?

My daughter is a new P.1 student and now she is going for full day, including eating lunch in school. I am so worry about her and she doesn't want to eat any kind of food b4 taking the bus. However, I think I am more worry about her going to P.1 than PN in kindergarten. Am I the only one worrying?? Please share!! :-|

My daughter is seven years old. :-P

有邊個父母唔擔心架，由幼稚園升上小學，對個小朋友黎講轉變真係好大，在幼稚園好多野都有老師幫，但到小學就要學識獨立，我個女入左呢間小學，一個舊同學都冇，我好擔心佢因為識唔到朋友以唔開心 :cry:

我想下學期轉返全日, 等佢學下先, 唔知好唔好呢

Maxmami,

我覺得如果你個仔在食野方面冇問題的話，在幼稚園轉全日對佢冇乜幫助，全日班係多左食飯，訓覺，做功課(我女果間幼稚園係咁既)，你不如遲些同佢報小一預備班可能仲好呢

My daughter has no friend in her class and she said she spents most of the recess time by herself. And she said it is so hard to make new friend. Some of her classmates are from the same kindergarten, therefore, they play together!!!!!!!

Her school bag is also so heavy..........and she is so tired after school, it is really sad to see a little six years old need to adjust to a new place without ME. Somehow, I believe she can make it, but it just makes me worry!!!!!!!!!

My daughter is seven years old. :-P

My daughter did well in the past three days. She does not have any friends or school-mates in her new primary school and she was very happy after school in the past few days. Maybe she studied full-time since K2, she does not have any problem in her primary school life. She needed four months to adjust her eating attitude when she had lunch at school in K2. Now, she does not have any problem.

Hi,

I really understand what you worried about!Yesterday night, after I put all the stuffs into my daugther's school bag(except water bottle) and it weight more than 3kg!!! It's 1/6 of her weight and she's so thin and she just a 6 years old girl after 7Sep. I wonder how can she carry it up to the 4/F of her school every day!
My daughter is using the SPI TCL school bag. Now I am trying to find another school bag which is lighter than this one. I think it is the only thing I can do except pray for her.

可能因為我囡在幼稚園K3時也是讀全日的，她到目前為止都適應得好好，好中意她的新學校、新同學、新老師，問她喜歡幼稚園還是小學，她甚至說喜歡現在的小學多些。我囡平時在家也是不太肯食嘢，但返咗學反而乜都食哂。同班中有一個幼稚園同學，但她已經識到新朋友仔。至於書包，我也覺得重，所幸她班房在一樓，不需要揹很久。唯一最需要克服的是早起的問題，因為學校比較遠，她現在要6：10起床，所以晚上我9點已要她上床睡覺，暫時都OK，但遲些有功課和黙書，就未知道能否應付。我覺得我比她更緊張。

Dear yanyanyan,

Don't be sad! Try to spend more time to talk with your daughter and let her know the whole family will support her! My daughter does not have any friends or school-mates in her new school also. In my church, we have many new P1 students this year. We -- the parents began to pray for all the P1 students(not only our kids) before the summer holiday and I believe God will bless his little princes/princess in their new schools with love and peace!

我個囡食飯又係好有問題, 好多野都唔食. 佢幼稚園時我都比佢讀全日, 老師成日投訴佢食得好慢同埋有d野點都唔肯食, 有個老師一定要佢食哂d飯, 結果對衡到3:00pm都唔肯食, 日日都比先生擺埋一, 二角食完先准玩, 攪到佢返學又唔開心, 愈來愈廋, 結果要幫佢轉間半日既學校. 所以好擔心佢宜家小學唔知會點, 睇怕都係要見家長多啦. 唉!

前日阿女話返學好辛苦，想讀返幼稚園，因為佢話個書包好重，又要行四層樓梯先到喎
但尋日佢又話好開心，老師叫佢一個人去校務處拎通告，之後就好雀躍咁話我知佢個歷險旅程我聽

一路講就一路做埋動作，好攪笑

擔心左幾日，但最後見到佢開心果刻，我都非常高興

絕對會啦,例如~

1. 開學以來,我都用兩個書包作交替,成日覺得個書包好重好重,希望用一個較輕既;到而家我都未搵到個好書包；
2. 夠精神上課嗎（驚佢瞓唔夠）;
3. 聽得明白老師說什麼呢(普通話/英語教學);
4. 和同學相處愉快嗎？

每天囡囡都會比口頭報告我, 我都會好用心去聽，聽到佢話有同學仔唔乖，比老師罰；我都會即時briefing佢，更加唔想佢focus其他小朋友唔乖既事，希望佢學懂寬恕和體諒別人；我又會話比佢知點解媽咪會為佢選這所學校，學校有乜野好．都幾hard sell架，無非都係想佢更愛這學校！

由預備開學到現在正式上課,對小朋友和家長都是一個磨合階段．但我相信孩子們會適應到的，話哂新學校，新老師，新同學，新課本，新科目，乜都新，樣樣都咁新鮮；我自己要認識其他新家長，都要用心和時間啦，right?

希望各位bk囝囝囡囡都有個愉快既小一旅程∼∼

大家咁話啦,平時亞囡好夜都唔願瞓覺,昨夜我話幫佢備課,兩個回合佢就話媽咪好夜啦,我要瞓啦,死未,不過算啦;遊戲剛剛開始,慢慢來.

我阿女呢幾晚都發惡夢呀，以前係玩得癲先會咁，但係就未試過連續幾晚都係咁，我覺得有d奇怪，唔知係咪佢日日返學都太緊張先會發夢呢？
