My child studied phonics (not the letterland one) in the St. Catherine's kindergarten. Now, he is in P1. So far, I don't the "magic" of phonics. I wonder whether I should let my child to attend a phonic course. Can phonics significantly improve the reading and writing ability of child?

Please give me some comments no matter your child has studied a phonic course or not. Thank you!
