直資收咗而你又註冊,一定唔可以參加大抽獎.
而大部份私小都可以參加大抽獎.(小部份唔得, 多數在香港區)

On HK side, private primarys as :

St.Loius, 慈幼, 真光 - can
St. stephen (stanley), Raimondi, HKUGA - can not

註冊直資= 註冊自行分配學位,你唔會收到大抽獎表格.

So, 直資 or 自行分配學位,只可2選1

大部份的直資學校要求交留位費的時間都較官津小自行收生放榜的時間晚(即使有些直資較早收生和放榜, 也通常有第二輪招生), 所以, 一般情況, 可同時參加直資面試和官津小自行收生. 但是, 一旦在直資學校留了位, 教統局便會取消統一派位資格 (視同接受官津小自行收生學額).
如果在直資留了位, 同時又有心儀的私小做後備, 想再試試能否透過統一派位入心儀的官津小, 那就需在統一派位交表前, 先向直資取消留位, 拿此取消留位證明及相關文件 (可向教統局查詢), 親自到教統局的統一派位中心辦理, 即可重新參加統一派位.

I don't know if this is true or not but many of my friend's children had this experience. They got a place in private school and their result in lucky draw was very bad."

I am not sure if it is correct. As for my daughter's case, she was accepted by a private school and yet I still submitted the primary 1 lucky draw form. The result was not the first 3 choices. Not sure it is really the case. Finally, she is accepted by another DSS in July. So, I give up the private school too.

My peer's daughter has applied for Middle true light, good hope and one more private sch., all successfully (all in Kowloon )
She borrowed a new address on the deadline date. (change it to the ED)Lastly, Her daughter took her 1st choisce- St.Mary.

But it was happened for 5 years ago.

This means if your child was accepted by both, you only can take one of them.

Of course, at the 1st stage, all parents can apply for the privates, DSS, and one 自行分配學位.

My kid also studied in Victoria kinder, this school allows you to join the central allocation, but you will be keeping ask to pay...... after the specific date, you have to pay some more, and after the specific date, you need to pay some more, So if you really want to keep the place and join the central allocation, you have to pay a lot. It is not same as St.loius, you just pay 500- until you get the result from central allocation. So,

我睇番通告，victoria 今年唔畀lucky draw 啦!

Victoria 嘅註冊程序：
On/before 31-10-2005, paid register fee $550-

(早過晒Raimondi, St.Loius, 慈幼.......they've still even not held the interview.)
On/before 25-11-2005, paid 4,286- 期票 for P.1 1st month school fee. (1-6-2006過數)
如果attend the central allocation, the place will be cancelled.

以上是sepical for Victoria kinder ，because we needn't to attend the intervew.

對外住嘅1st 招生，唔清楚。但一樣唔准attend the central allocation.
第二輪，5月開始，照睇都係要收1-6-2006期票.

有d私校會將收生名單俾教統局, 令到已留位呢幾間私校的小朋友統一派位結果差, 絕對係無稽之談.
我反而發覺有唔少家長覺得既然有私校 Backup, 填表時便將網內學校由最鍾意填到最唔鍾意, 其實都係諗住得就讀第一志願, 唔得就讀私校. 咁填法, 一係好運如償所願, 一就係派到 "very bad" 囉.
的確有幾間私校會話明玩統一派位就取消留位, 唔想咁, 俾留位費時問清楚學校就得.
