因聽說近年聖若瑟的程度淺了很多,而基灣是一所近年增值得很快的小學.尤其在音樂方面.

其實讀基灣重申苦.每天十數樣功課.如何招架?自問真係唔識點叫小朋友每天做十多樣功課.
而聖若瑟是英小.如能上到英中起碼容易接軌.

Still struggling with the choice of school?

Time is running short for you since the new K3 school term will soon begin, and you will be given the form for the 1st round of the game.

As a final advice to you, if you are or have to play the Lucky Draw as a last resort, then choose the school with the greatest chance of success and neglect about the pressure to your son for the time being. After all, he has to face the pressure and daily vicissitudes in life one day.

Given the fact that so many schools are going to be 'killed' for having insufficient students, I don't see there should be any difficulty for you to change to a less demanding school for your son a year or two later if you find him really unable to catch up with the school's requirement.

Having said so, to be frank, I myself already feel the pressure since this month while the new school term for my boy is approaching.

我想問St. Joseph有無幼稚園架? 如果我唔係灣仔果邊個校網, 係咪攪珠無得選St. Joseph? 一定要自己考?

St. Joseph's Primary School has its Kindergarten but only for K2 and K3 (NB: it has no K1). Rumour said that all its kinder students are admitted eventually at round 3 (but I wonder if this is true in the absence of concrete evidence).

If you are not in Net 12, you may still choose it at the 1st round (by calculation of points or if your kid is the category of students that the school is obliged to admit because of your elder boy is still studying there or if you are a staff of the school).

You may also choose it at Part 1 of the Lucky Draw game during the 2nd round though the chance of success is lesser.

I think there is nothing need to be worried in so far as the Lucky Draw is concerned, simply make up your mind on your target school and go for at the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd round.

Last but not least, you should also try to look for private or DSS schools for your boy as many parents do just to prepare for the contingency.
