Re: holly family vs good hope
Dear manmum,
To be honest, I didn't find any great administrative problems of the school. I understand that different people have different standard of 'good'. At least, I find that the instructions from school are clear and I can follow without difficulties. I can see my daughter is enjoying her school life.
There are always some people around us that we don't like. They may be our classmates, school teachers, colleagues, boss, neighbours, politicans or even our governor. We can't avoid! What is important is that we learn how to live with them, accept them and not being affected by them. That is something that can make us being more mature. Do you agree?
This is no doubt that GHS is a traditional local school. (Actually I wonder how many local schools in Hong Kong are not traditional, including those claim to have activitiy learning). However, does it mean that it is no good for your child? Strict sometimes doesn't mean hostile, and discipline learning & being hard working are also somethings that we want our kids to learn.
Wish you and your daughter having a happy school life, no matter which scholl you choose. |
