I agree big-head that you can use PECS. And for my own case, my son didn't talk when he was 2 and half, and his teacher told me that he might be speech delay and let him to test in health centre, after that we have a result , -- autism.
Then , we let him study in special kindergarden until now, and we always talk w/ him and also need him to use word, whatever single word or a sentense. example, he like to eat biscuit , he need to say a word, he wants to drink; he need to say "shui shui"and after few months later, he can try to say a simple words and he can express himself now.
So, hope your son has an improvement later. |
