Both are not good.
School bus, long traffic time, usually an hour before school. Kid feels very uncomfortable. Won't be taking good care at all.
Maid. Absent mind. Very dangerous when crossing the road. Crowded public transportation, bad to kid's health.
Remember, they've to travel 2 times on each school day for "3" years since 3 years old. It'll be a daily routine, a disaster to the whole family (from my experience  ).
