Is your kid studying in the international section? How do you find the school? My boy will be in N1 this year and I am thinking of switching him to another kinde in K1. The putonghua emphasis is very attractive since I find it so difficult to teach my elder daughter the differences between Cantonese and written Chinese.
My son switched from another kindy to KCS main section last year, i.e. K2, and I found that it's really good to learn PTH there as PTH is used as the teaching medium besides english. Since I don't want my son to stay in the local traditional education system, he will then go to P1 of the international section this coming september.
