As my kid started a few lessons only, I cannot make any comment at the moment. My girl told me that her teacher teaches her very well and is very patient with her. After each session, the teacher has a short talk with the parent about the child's performance and relative comments. Hence, the parent knows what has been taught and the child's performance, such as improvement, weakness, etc. etc.
I was referred to this math class by my friend whose son is studying P3 at La Sxxxx. Her mom told me that her son has gone to this math class for about 2 years and he likes it very much. The teaching focuses on thinking and problem solving instead of drilling. The classroom originally taught 學林數 when it first established but now it has set up its own teaching materials. The classroom didn't do a lot of advertisements but has expanded its size for the past few years because of its good reputation amongst parents.
Yes, the classes are quite full at the Mongkok classroom. You can try the Yau Ma Tei branch and see if they have spaces available.
