Are you talking about the one in Laguna Verde? It's pretty good. The teachers are good and they care much about the kids.

I also enroll my son in this school for K1 next year. Yes, the school fee is very high to me. But I am very impressed by the teachers' qualification. All teachers are native speakers. They also teach Letterland phonics. That means I can save money for English/Mandarin/phonics playgroup outside.

my son is not in pn yet, if he is admitted he will start pn this august. i live in tsuen wan so the tsing yi and olympic branch is closer, but for k1, the laguna verde branch has putonghua and english immersion which i like, so i m thinking whether we should start him in lv right away or rather switch when k1 comes, but then he has to get use to the lv campus in k1 again....what do u think, any suggestions / comments.

Are you sure there is no Mandarin/English stream in the two branches other than the LV branch?

I like this school also because of their English teaching approach. They start teaching phonics from PN. Kids are trained to present a speech from K1 (or before?) They also introduce topics through story reading.

I wish to put my son in an English/ Mandarin primary school, so I want to put him in an English/Mandarin speaking environment earilier.

hi enidchiu, yes, so far from the information they gave me, lv is the only location with putonghua/english at k1. i m not sure whether i will put my son in a putonghua/english primary school, but i speak with him mostly in english at home and i can definitely teach him english myself, so i would rather have him pick up another language like putonghua as early as possible. cantonese of course he will pick up with no problem from his grandma and other people. and after all cantonese is only a dialect, the actual chinese language might be learnt better thru putonghua, at least that's what i think!

u already have a primary school in mind?

hi, my son is now in pn laguna verde & stay in this school for kinder. i like this school. it's new clean. teachers are good. native english or mandarin teachers & two teachers per class are very strong selling point. my son will go to CE stream (cantonese & english). for those who enrols in ME stream (mandarin & english) at laguna verde, you'll get a bonus of having japanese kids as classmates. there are a lot of japanese in pn classes.

Hi all,

Same as ljsze, I will also let my son go to K1 (Cantonese and English stream) in Laguna Verde. The learning atmosphere in LV is pretty nice: good teachers, good teaching approach.

I heard that the fourth PN class will start in Feb, which means this school is welcomed by parents. Besides that, I have also heard of the good things of the other two LHKs.
