Msma, are you good hoper or do you have daughter studying in good hope? You seem to support good hope a lot!
I gave my opinion not because i am an old girl of these schools. I judge it mainly based on my friends from my secondary school period and university. I was in some kind of activities with members mainly from elite schools like DGS, Maryknoll, St Mary, Heep Yunn, Good Hope, St Stephen Girls, La Salle, DBS, St Paul's college, Wah Yan kln/hk, St Louis.... oh you name it. So i know a lot of friends from these schools. Based on my circle of friends (over a 200+), there were primary school students and secondary school students, and you can really tell the standard of the school if the sample is big. We frequently went to overseas and therefore can tell the 'english standard' of different schools!!
i found that students (both primary and secondary) of DGS, Maryknoll, DBS, Wah Yan have the best english. The rest are about the same, not the best but also good.
msma says: "並唔係MCS 所有學生的程度都比 GOOD ＨＯＰＥ好"-- i agree of course, it's the same as "並唔係DGS 所有學生的程度都比 GOOD ＨＯＰＥ好". Of course Good Hope 都有叻人, DGS & MCS 都有唔叻人, but we are talking about average standard.
But I have to say that there's no point comparing these schools because all are GOOD SCHOOLS in HK. End result is about the same. $$$$, home location should be considered as well.  |
