Hello,
I think it is better for your baby to go nursery about 1 year because they don't know anything at 3 months. Also, I have an experience that I take my daughter to join playgroup about 6 months but it is no use because she is afraid of doing some exercise.
I have some friends, they said that they join the playgroup at 1.5 years. Anyway, you can try to join one -two times playgroup that you can do a comparsion with other babies.
