請問係咪銅鑼灣禮頓道果間?
佢地出名鐘意收大女(年頭出世), 我聽過有d11月出世, 連form都唔收, 我個女8月尾, 當年我打去問幾時lor form, 佢係咁答我"8月尾呀, 機會就無咩架喇, 不過即管可以試下既"
另外, 佢鐘意full time mom, 你試下返放學時間去睇下, 好多媽咪兵團架
有樣野要留意: 當年我考咁多幼稚園, st paul係唯一一間真係問"點解你要考我地學校, 你對學校有咩期望"既幼稚園, 做好功課喇!

full time mom is definitely a 'plus' to all famous schools; 所以妳可能要選擇講大話, 如果妳吾係.

另外名校都問"點解你要考我地學校, 你對學校有咩期望"; Rosaline 3 月出世去年Rosaline考St. Paul's & St. Rose & St. Cat, 我地嘅answer係:-
1. 媽咪在職
2. 揀呢間學校係因為認同妳地嘅理念, 覺得妳地可以教好我个女.

结是3間都decline.

如果好鈡意St. Paul, 而妳个kid又係细, 可以試插班佢地嘅nursery, 事前返定名校playgroup(YMCA)或nursery(V記); 吾洗考, 比妳排隊.  有个friend 因此入到St. Paul's nursery & primary.

小女在SPN就讀.  以我所見, 媽咪大多數是在職的. SPK好像較多全職媽咪.

至於"點解你要考我哋學校, 你對學校有咩期望".  我當時是講出他們的教育理念是甚麼, 再講出我怎樣配合, 答得比較仔細, 我當然曾經做過功課啦!

至於插班生, 每次我見到有新小朋友, 我都會問她的家長是否叩門的.  我所見的幾個例子是, 她們都是N1時已報名及面試, 但當時被列入waiting list, 後來有學額學校才致電家長問是否願意做插班生. 我見有一位家長知道可插班, 甚至乎提早跟舊校退學, 在暑假前一兩個月插班SPN先適應環境呢!

小女經常都參加生日會, 我發覺很大部份都集中在年尾和年頭, 當然年尾是指大女啦! 年中過後就沒太多小朋友開生日會, 大家心中有數吧! 不過學校如果說到出口好像有些歧視細女, 其實我見有些細女都很叻架!

不過SPK和SPN競爭都很大, 所以多考幾間做後備呀!

i also want to apply SPK for my daughter.. if i studied in SP before, is there any advantage for my daughter applying SPK? I didn't see a question on the application form asking which schools the parents went wor?

This is definitely a popular kindergarten. Anyone know how many applicants last year? over 1000?

Also, anyone considering SH? I am planning to apply both but if lucky enough both accept my child, I really don't know which one to choose...anyone has suggestion? ( i am dreaming again

香港有好多用 St Paul's 英文名做校名既學校,好容易搞亂!

你所提既 St Paul's Church 係聖保羅堂幼稚園,佢冇直升既小學,亦同St Paul's Co-ed (SPCC) 聖保羅男女小學冇任何關係!小朋友要參加大抽獎或自己考私小/直資.而你所提既 St Paul's Kinder 係聖保祿幼稚園(SPK), 佢就有直屬既小學,好多女仔會直上 St Paul's Convent (SPC). SPC 亦會收番哂自己聖保祿幼兒園(SPN)既女仔.

I like SPN more than SPK as SPN is a full day school. Kids are trained to be more independent and they have more time/chance to develop their social skills. Both SPN and SPK are Chinese schools with English classes. Both of them are good and their students have happy school life.

Once you are luckily got a seat in SPN, your kid will take the levels from N1 to N4. You are not allowed to apply for K1 SPK if you're SPN student and vice versa. However, if you miss the chance to get in N1 SPN (for kids > 2 years), you can apply for K1 SPK(for kids > 2 years 8 months).

SPK/ SPN 係天主教學校, St Paul's Boys Primary 係基督教學校,冇任何關係!

SPN - HK$5,250 X 12個月

如果讓小朋友參加課外活動，再加上基本開支, 閒閒地都要HK$10,000/月。養孩子比養自己貴得多！

My girl is a 2004 big girl, and I'd also like to apply both SPK and SH next year.  Personally speaking, SH's students tend to perform well in academic aspects and are trained to be a "very disciplined" girl, while SPK's are more outspoken and presentable.  Both are good schools.

My case is:

1. full time mom
2. I'm a Catholic, but not yet for my kid.  I'll let her attend a Catholic school to learn the biblical knowledge from it, then become a Catholic on her own.
3. My girl is a big girl will attend nursery class next year.

I don't know how much the above count when SPK considers my application.  I still got 1 year to "dream"

Your case is very similar to mine!!!
My girl is a big girl 2003. I am a full time mom. I am also a catholic myself but not my child and also same as you, will let her study in a catholic school to learn more and then become a catholic later. My girl is attending a nursery now.
