我覺得kids abc比較岩歲半或以上的小朋友~~先給dvd看,大少少可以一齊做下動感小勞作,或貼下紙~~

但" Richard Scarry"我買在一隻,佢dvd內容又不及kid abc有趣,而且d exercise只是黑白copy來炸~~~~所以我沒有再買其他了~~

I have bought both sets for my son. Kids ABC is suitable for younger children, say 1 or 2 years old to learn basic concepts like alphabet and little bit phonics and I think that Richard Scarry is also good for kindergarden childen. I like Richard Scarry more. I find that the sentence structure and the story deveopment of Richard Scarry is good. Also the songs are very attractive. My son likes to play Richard Scarry when he goes to sleep as the background music or story.

Yes, the songs of Richard Scarry are very good, even I myself enjoy listening to those songs very much. My son and I will sing the song together once we hear it.

I like Richard Scarry very much, you can buy the VCD from Page 1, $49 per VCD, the complete series is 5 or 6 VCD.

There are some other places which sells "East-West" products (both Kids ABC and Richard Scarry are Taiwan "East-West" publisher products).  You'd better shop and compare the prices.

I have both Kids ABC and Richard Scarry, I agree with other mums, Kids ABC is for younger babies and Richard Scarry for bigger one.  I'd suggest you try Kids ABC first, then if your baby likes watching TV and English, you could consider buy others, as some babies do not like TV at all.

For your info, I once bought the "East-West" products from a booth at around 35% off the list price.  I also like to compare the Taiwan prices and may order products directly from Taiwan, sometimes, you could save a few hundreds.

Thanks for your information. So cheap? I thought the whole set of Richard Scarry's around $1000 from GC?! Perhaps their set has other stuff in it.

For Richard Scarry, the set from East West was DVD and there are workbooks, flashcards and the whole script included. Of course they are much expensive. In fact, VCD is also the good choice for best value of money.

You can try LINK: http://www.baby-library.com/.  In the past, I bought the books in Taiwan as I worked in Taiwan before, and now, I just asked my colleagues from Taiwan to deliver the books to me.

I am a big fan of East-West, and East-West has a branch in HK which sometimes organizes seminars with booths selling the products at special discounts.  You can check out this website LINK: http://www.ewbook.hk  They have just finished a seminar for parents and offered 15% off list price for all the products at the booth.

FYI, I have both DVD version of Richard Scarry and the VCD version.  I found the DVD version has much better quality, and I think if your baby is very small, better to find good quality video for him/her.

My kid loves Richard Scarry series. I only bought VCDs from Kiss my kids. Perhaps you can try to buy one VCD & see if your kid like it before considering the DVD set of GC.

Try the "best mother goose songs ever ", one of Richard Scarry as I think it is the most interesting & more familiar rhymes.
