請問培正幼稚園畢業生是否直升上小學而不需再考試呢?另外培正是否容許保留小學學位再參加大抽獎呢?

我個仔都係直昇上小學. 不用考試.

但我知道如果想選擇其他學校而到時....派得唔理想的話.
培正係唔會再收番呢位學生

我仔d同學, 有d都有參加大抽獎, 但後來派得唔理想, 就讀番培正, 其實學校無明講唔得, 如果你要參加大抽獎, 就要去校務處

所以, 培正都要 keep 番一D 既學生.

我個仔當年係好爆....所以, 都要睇時勢而定

Pui Ching only allowed last year K3 students to join the lucky draw.  But this year, they did not say anything officially.  I had talked to Principle Leung personally and she said you were supposed not allow to join the central allocation.

Below are only my personal comments:

1. Starting from this year, they only have 8 class of P1 and not many vacancies for the outsiders.  (Before there were 8 class of K3 and 9 class of P1)  So they let them K3 students to choose to leave the school and got the vacancies to select outsiders.

2. 8 class of P1: to prepare for the changing of the secondary school after 2012.  It seems that schools are required to reserve xx% of seat for central allocation if they changed to DSS.

So I think Pui Ching is not affected by the problem of 縮班 but they are making some 'test'.

Other parents could give more information as above is only my personal view about the changes of school policy.

Yes....based on what I have heard at the parent's meeting early for K3 students, Principal Lee did not say anything "openly" about whether you can keep the P1 place and at the same time, go for the lucky draw. He just said they will not prohibit the students to do so...yet they did NOT confirm what they will do next if the student wish to "return" to PC if they find that the lucky draw result is not good.

So I guess they will do that on a case by case basis.
