I recommend you to bring your kid there to have a site visit. I did the same and my daughter was very willing to stay there in her 1st visit (she is 3 years old and used to be very shy and very attached with me, glad that she is willing to follow what Johnny said in the class).
Also, the price is okay for me, about $1,080 for 8 classes.

My daughter also joined the drawing class, she enjoyed their class so much, my daughter always ask me " mom, I want to go painting with Johnny"
My daugter likes Johnny so much, she's very very happy to stay in the studio.
Personally, I think Johnny is a very nice & good teacher , I think he's not only care about the painting, but also in the child developement in whole.
so it's kinda different from others.
so if u have time, just go there and visit.
