Today, I have just joined the school visit to 石鍾山(SCS). I have drop some note below from Headmaster Mr. Yip speech for your reference:
(1) They have 160 seats for coming 2006 P1. 80 seats will reserve for 1st round.
(2) According to Mr. Yip, there are around 32 seat will be reserved for those candidate with brothers/sisters. Therefore, 48 seat is expected for 自行派位.
(3) SCS received around 200 application for 自行派位 in past few years. So, even 15 points is still possible to go lucky draw.
(4) The thing most impressed me is their IT infrastructure. It seems that they have splendid Computer system subsidary(from Government and private firm). They have over 250 desktop or notebook computer in the school to serve 1000 students. This ratio is highest in the area!
I personally prefer 浸聯 in 62 Net. But it seems that SCS is still not a bad choice for 2rd option in 統一派位. Especailly, if you live nearby 海濱.
For more information, You may join the school open week this week. Saturday is better as they can open all the facilities. Don't forget to try their "touch-screen whiteboard" that the headmaster so pround of!
Thank you LeeHoMa, 我都聽聞石小 IT 都幾出名,各方面都唔錯,只係升中派位成績一般! 但浸聯實在太過"掙賓頭"啦,而自己其實住海濱,所以就有D想退而求其次選石小囉, 況且有幾個街坊D仔女讀緊石小,都大讚呢間學校好! 我其實想統一派位博一博浸聯第一位,石小第二位,第三未捻,但又驚抽唔中浸聯,連石小都無埋,到時彈左去唔知第幾志願就oh my god啦!
