各位apply KTS 和 SFA 的媽媽, 呢兩間小學竟然同一日interview, 如果撞時間你地會點呀?
另: SFA要父母陪同interview嗎?

Hi july_rhapsody,

Both schools = no interview for parents.

SFA has written test to do.  You may better submit your application form to SFA very early in the morning.  You can get back the date and time of interview.
My last year experience:  I wait outside SFA at around 8:00am and I get the earliest time at 9:00am.

KTS has many days for you to submit your application.  You may submit later to get your interview time in the afternoon.

I just wonder if life is happier in KTS than SFA and whether there is any significant different in academic level between this 2 schools.

Hi july_rhapsody,

You should consider if both schools been admitted your son and which school you will choose? That is the one you should attend the interview.

I know a boy he is studying in SFA and he is not the most top student in his class but he is able to answer a very difficult math’s and has high level of English standard.

My point of view, I think every child (primary level) is happy in their school life as long as the teacher and classmates are nice to them. I have ask a lot of child regarding the happiness of their school life for both traditional & non-traditional and the answer is "Yes"

P1 admission

(4) Procedure for obtaining application forms:

　　 (1)a. Can be obtained in person at the School Office

　　　 b. Can be obtained by mail (Please provide a self-addressed envelope)

　　　 c. Can be downloaded at the School Website (Please note that the supply of the application forms is unlimited.
　　　　 Applicants should submit their forms together with $40 on the APPOINTED DATE stated below.
　　　　 No application forms would be accepted after the appointed date.)

　　 (2) Submission of application forms:
　　　a. The completed application forms should be returned to the School Office on the APPOINTED DATE PERSONALLY.

　　　b. Date for submitting forms: 22-10-2005 (Saturday) ONLY

　　　c. Time for submitting forms: 08:00-16:00

　　　d. Required documents for submission:

　　　　 - the completed application form together with recent photo of the applicant

　　　　 - the BIRTH CERTIFICATE (original and copy) of the applicant (Please submit a valid document if the applicant was born overseas.)

　　　　 - the recent academic report (original and copy) of the applicant

　　　　 - a Catholic applicant should submit a Baptism Certificate in duplicate

　　　　 - one recent photo of the applicant, (identical to the one on the application form)
　　　　　$40 application fee and a self-addressed envelope should be submitted

　　　　ALL APPLICATION FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN DUE COURSE. NO FORMS ARE ACCEPTED
　　　　AFTER THE APPOINTEDDATE.

　　　 e. After the submission of the form, an INTERVIEW ADMISSION FORM together with a receipt shall be provided by the SCHOOL.

(5) Date of interview: 5th November 2005 (Saturday) The time for the interview will be notified on the INTERVIEW ADMISSION FORM. Parents or guardians are reminded to bring the applicant to attend the interview with his/her INTERVIEW ADMISSION FORM on time. Any applicant who is late for over 15 minutes or forgets to bring along his /her INTERVIEW ADMISSION FORM shall not be allowed to join the interview.

(6) Announcement of the result of the interview: 25th November 2005 (Friday)
- successful candidates will be notified individually by mail and the list will be posted on the Notice Board at the school entrance at 08:00
- unsuccessful candidates will not be notified

if you like sfa, you better mention what time you will availble. i remembered that the time is specify on interview adm form. on submitting date, i suggest you go there early, and try to book the time!
