Would you kindly let me have the teacher's contact? Since I really find my teacher is not quite good for kids. He doesn't know how to manage the student like my boy's age. He is 3.5 and take the violin lesson around 6-7 months already. But the teacher is really good for big children or adults. I got grade 3 violin since I was in primary. Because of my boy, and I take it again, and found the teacher is quite good for me. But he doesn't know how to make the small kid pay attention and feel interest too. Therefore, I really want to seeking another teacher for my boy who is nearly 4.
After 7 months learning from the violin teacher, my boy only can play 2 very simple songs, and just can manage 2 strings (E and A strings)only. I found this is too slow, as I have practise with my boy everyday. I always think if I am not able to guide him and how can he practise by himself????

You are right, it is quite hard to let child pick up this if he is too small. And if mummy doesn't know any about violin, and can't help any at all. This is quite different with piano.
