Received email now.  Will any parents go to their information session about admission and interview?  Its 6.30pm after work, so not sure if going.  Wonder if this will affect chances of getting interview?

Going or not should not affect the chances of getting an interview.  The kind of letter you are going to get is based on pure luck, after being sorted into the priority groups, if any.
