i think you better have a more intensive training for he/her as after form 2, the English would be more difficult. Is the school good or not? Otherwise, you need to have tutorial class for the child

hi!
想寫好文就要先從讀好文章開始﹐ 你可以用以下兩種方法加起來﹕

1) 做unseen dictation, 不要刻意把 "s" 和 "ed" 等聲音讀得太明顯﹐ 考完沒有加的照當小朋友錯﹐ 跟他說﹐ 就算聽的不清楚﹐ 他也可以從以前學的grammar 中知道什麼時候要加 "s" 或 "ed". 久而久之﹐ 他就會懂得在寫文章中加進他在grammar 學到的知識。

2) 讀好的文章﹐ 找一些好的句子結構﹐ 然後叫小朋友模仿。

1- make sure he/she understand the sentence structure.

2- Know what Tenses is. (means under which situation)

3- a) go to times or bbc website to find one new for him/her to read daily. No need to make sure he/she knows every words but need he/she to guess what is it about. b) then explain to him/her & pick up some good sentences/ words to share with him/her

4- Read out 1 passage everyday. (it can helps him/her to remember some standard sentence structure easily.

5- Provided some linkage words (e.g however, firstly, moreover, finally,.... ) to him/her, n let them use them to finish one passage (any topics) to u weekly.

thought it works!

- as my student (p.6) use this method by half n year (actually, not everyday as I cant see her everyday), her eng result from B- to A-.
