Hello Parents! We have received an offer for K2 in 2018/2019 and am waiting for the details in the school contract which should reach me by next week. For the time being, I would be very grateful to hear from you some comments / info on WKS ESF (as we have missed out previous parent tour).
There is an additional K2 class for 2018/2019, does it mean the competition for a Y1 place would be even more severe? How many K1 class for this current year (2017/18) and how many students per class?

For those who attended PN/K1 in other schools before WKS ESF, how would you comment the difference between the two schools? My child's current school is using small class approach, her class has 13 kids but with 1 net teacher, 1 PTH teacher and 1 Co-teacher.

Many thanks for your time.

Any priority to primary even if you join at k2?

If no priority, don't join.

This year, we have 8 classes K2. You have to know that Esf foundation school admission is based on luck, RC is based on performance. Eventually, most kids will be offered to at least any one of them.

We have no homework, not even writing or reading. Children learn through play. They acquire fluent English verbally. I believe my girl is doing well in wks, she became more confident, willing to take challenge and acquired good social skill.

Many thanks for your views. Much appreciated. I have no idea about the priority issue for our case, I understand for normal case, there is no priority for joining at K2. I have asked the Admissions Office for a parent tour but no sound from them yet.
So for 2017/18 has 8 classes of K2, so I assume 2017/18 has 6 classes of K1, and that's why they will have one extra K2 in 2018/19 to make it even for K1 and K2 in 2018/19...

would you please tell me more about admissions to ESF Y1 is based on luck? arent they have to go for an interview?

Thanks!
