至於升讀直屬中學，其他家長多有論述，遊戲規則當然依從直屬中小學的關係來辦。其實很簡單，小五六學生的家長必會清楚。
直屬小學升中依從中一派位機制， MCS 選第一及第二組別學生。
例如過往二年， MCS 在中一自行收生時學額為30人，但在升中一的統一派位階段時，會有保留學額 136 人，此保留學額是給予 MCS 小學部的學生，條件是只要這些MCS小學生在填寫升中統一派位表格時以 MCS 中學為第一志願。派位當然是第一組別優先，當MCS內第一組別學生全數獲派中一學位後，剩餘的保留學額會給第二組別學生抽

My daughter is a MCS girl. The school will confirm you that your girl will surely be alotted a place in MCS Secondary if :
1. your girl ranks 1 to 70 (ie. Band A) summarising your school results of P5 final, P6 1st and 2nd Exams;
2. your girl chooses MCS in both rounds of school selection.

The banding of each student was already released to all parents during the Parents' Meeting last Thur. So, 70 students out of 200 already knew about their success in getting into MCS Secondary.

That means MCS only accepts the top 35% of their primary students? So the rest can enter only if they've got a lucky no. in the 2nd round?

MCS Sec. will intake a total of 128 (out of 200) girls from MCS Pri. Though the school only confirms 70 places at this stage, all Band I MCS Pri. students will be admitted into MCS Secondary. The remaining seats will be shared among Band II MCS Pri. students in the lucky draw. The finalised % of Band I students will be known only in July 12. In addition to some discretionary places at the disposal of MCS Sec., MCS Sec. will take around 70% of MCS Pri. students.
Hope that the information is useful for those parents who are interested in MCS.

May I ask more information about MSC.
How the school maintain the students English standard. Besides, reading and writing, does the students compulsory to speak English all the time in the school.
