polyu - designed school bag

Polyu designed school bag is sold in SPI shop now. Have sample to try but no stock yet. Have to make order and pick up in Aug. Cost about $350+ but just one size. It weighs lighter than small size SPI school bag but it is big.

For p1 students, buy traditional SPI bag or this new Polyu bag?

The price for both designs are the same, so I ordered the new one as I think both design and material for the "Smart 05 Edition" is much better than the Campus Basic. It looks much better than the old style. And it is lighter in weight. I also like the design of the new school bag on its back as it is not flat like the old one, so there will be space between the middle of the school back and the kid's back. Seems will feel more comfortable in summer.

剛剛打電話去SPI 問，想拿張pamphlet，但沒有pamphlet可以fax 給我，不過提議我親自到專門店看實物。

問他們有沒有stock，他們說7月20日後有stock，會在department store有售。不過價錢就會貴一點。他們提議我，在7月20日前落order，就可以用特價$338買這個原價$460的書包，可以省回$122。

I ordered when they promoted the school bags at school and the new school bag will include the logo of the school, no extra charge on the logo. So, you can check if they are going to promote at your kids' school during the parent day and if school logo will be included. If yes, you can see the sample there and order at that time.

Please be reminded that the Smart 05 Edition has only one colour, which is red, with a white color strip in the front and light grey color zips.

理大納米護脊書包 in spi shop has 3 color, red, blue and green.
The problem is it has only one size (for p1-p6). It is light but it is big.
So at this stage I tend to buy the old style spi small sized school bag.

Have you let your kid try the 理大納米護脊書包? Even it has only one size, compared to the old style, it is not big at all. The length is even shorter than the Campus style. I think it is more suitable for P.1 student as the Campus seem too big. (May be SPI displayed a big size that day. But on that day, it is for P.1 student only, so supposed they should display the right size for P.1 student.) I saw a lot of kids tried the Campus and I think it is too big and looks like a turtorise shell.

hi amy,
may be my son is not short but thin. I have tried both polyu and spi old small size school bag. The polyu one look big and seems is too wide for my son's shoulder. The old small one is fitter.

anyone have try both?

Hi, ALAL,

Thanks for your sharing. May be my girl's school bag in KG is in similar size of the new SPI, so I have no problem in its size. I did saw a kid smaller than my girl tried both and her parent also think the new style fit better. However, as I said, SPI did not show all the samples in the school, so may be the size they displayed at school is not the small size.

早2個星期同仔仔到門市試過，最後訂左新納米書包！的而且確舊款細碼好似比較FIT，但size新舊差不多只是新款個底厚d，起碼可以袋多件外套or雨衣；而且一用起碼2-3年，冇理由去買個舊款架！加上仔仔比較大隻，所以都係c9心態買左個新款！

o個日同囡囡返學校度校服, 學校都有spi新納米書包訂, 有埋school logo, 我都訂左, 覺得比起small size ga真係輕好多, 同埋擺係度ga其他2款書包, size比呢個長同重d, 唔係好arm阿囡, 所以訂左呢款, 只係得紅色, 價錢都係$338...

請問個款係咪同之前那位mummy post 出嚟個幅相一樣呢? 你囡囡肩帶位適合嗎? 因我曾經試過舊款, 肩帶位好似闊咗少少。Thanks !
