我除了(柏基)沒有參觀,其地我都去過,最後選了新一代,因沒有太多人讀,照顧都好d啦!,校長,老師.嬸嬸,都很有耐性同愛心,比小朋友適應期都很彈性,我個仔因為太痴身,我都要陪佢上了2星期堂,但期間可以更了解多d小朋友上課情形,學吓佢地d歌仔,有時同佢一齊唱吓,佢地更開心,(當然家長要好得閒),學校會慢慢去睇小朋友既進度而加長時間比佢一個人上堂,最緊要係自已同小朋友一起參觀學校!!

I live in Riviera Gardens. So, I wish to send my girl to schools there for the sake of convenience. I haven't made up my mind for choosing which school. Either Cannon (facilities are better) and New Generation (teachers have patience) la. However, I don't know whether there are still places.

You mentioned that your daughter will study N1 this coming July. Did you send the application form to kindergarten?? Many schools are no vancancy. If you would like to send your kid to study N1, please be quick.

我個仔今年4月己經返緊 la我個仔係02年12月 ,所以我會比較清楚(新一代幼兒園)係點!9月我會比佢返k1,但在青衣(st thomas)我想佢小學大d机會去返石鐘山天主教小學,我覺得幼兒園真係比佢地玩吓,學吓群體生活,服從性,起初叫佢地學吓排隊,一個向東走,一個向西走,d小朋友很多騎呢事件!

Thanks for your advice. Yes, it's a bit late to find schools now (I've just decided to send my girl to Nursery) but fortunately both schools say that there are still places. I will visit the two schools next week and submit the application forms right after that.

我都住係海濱架,宜家想俾仔仔七月返N1(半日制),初步會選慧中,因為貪佢夠方便(屋企樓下)同地方夠大,但我都會睇下迦南果邊有無位添!

Hi, I also live in Riviera. I am now considering 慧中or 迦南 or方方. So far I heard most of the mums are considering 慧中or 迦南. Can anyone tell me whether 方方 (海濱) is good or not?

dear all,

My son is studying in 慧中 (N.A. class)now.
Last month his class teacher changed!! (I think if one class teacher follow the whole year is better to the kid)
now my son miss the class teacher very much(the old one)
I think 新一代 is better (due to less student) So they can take care more!

My kid is studying in 海濱方方. 海濱方方 is more spacious and better decorated. The school fee is more expensive but I think the school is still losing money. There is a nurse to help to take care of the pupils. The class size is small (around 10 pupils).

因為我宜家先找私立幼兒園報讀, 我之前找過仁濟,邊耀良,救世軍同雅麗珊,但無一間有位,祇得邊耀良有後補位.
請各位媽咪如果有小朋友海濱讀書,請報料給大家知?

I think you should give a call to the school concerned and ask for a school visit so that you and your kid can understand the school more yourselves. Mind you, my kid refused to enter some of the kindergartens in Riviera Gardens. Because of the decreasing children population, all the private schools have lots of vacancy. So, visit all the schools you are interested. You can have lots of time to make the decision.
Apart from school fee, one big difference between private and subsidized school is that private school tend to have more vacation. Do ask about that during your school visit.
Furthermore, some schools may organize some free trial class and/or open days for potential applicants so that you can understand the school more.
