Hi leung, the first exam will be held on coming early November, try to scan all worksheets (all subjects) and let ya child has more time to study. The above is the experience I gained last year while my children were in P.1

Time goes by so fast!!!! She is in P.5, more or less, u will study Secondary School Profile very soon.

If you have time, please review it. I will pay attention of this school in these coming 3 years.

Elaine, does Chinese, English and Maths. become difficult in P.3 or P.4? How many words for Chinese and English composition in P.3 or P.4? Did ya eldest daughter take part in Open Examination?

I heard that some of PLK primary schools attend "Australian International Assessments for Schools" (澳洲國際聯校學科評估)? Did WWS attend?

Elaine, did ya daughter have a study tour in WWS? (eg. Singapore, or mainland) I find there is one time from P.3 and above. Am I right?

Does WWS stop using story book for English learning after P.3?

Elaine, if my children were in P.5, I would prefer to buy dark color coats in winter. It should be less than 4 months for 2 years (P.5 and P.6) to wear.

Elaine, it is so good. U set a good topic for this thread. At least, if there is no relation with WWS primary school, they won't come in. Right?

If u have time, u can share any personal ideas on WWS here.

I remembered when I found info. (especially Eng. learning) about WWS, they stated out most of daily Eng. used vocab. list, I just wanna know what was it. Sure I know yet, but sounds funny.

Sure, Elaine. Before I wanna teach something to my children, I must ask them how do they learn at school. Eg. Story book reading, I used to speak it out once, then taught vocab., and/or some simple sentence structure. However, right now, I will use "Who/When/What/Why/Where and How" techniques. Good, it works well. They don't request stopping and watching TV again.

If you have time, u can take a look on it. The web site contain complete E-book, u can think it is a chapter book from 1 to 38. Apart from E-book itself, it also has worksheets and teaching note. Sound great !!! For ya eldest daughter, it could be a little bit late, but it should be now to let ya younger daughter to start to read.

My children accepted by WWS at second round 2 years ago, they were all 15 pts. Elaine told you the truth, right now it is a little bit difficult to get in at first round, u can start to prepare profolio in coming Easter.

Elaine, my domestic helper brings them to home on time, I remember there was only 1 or 2 days they saved homework for me to teach at night, no problems so far.

Right now, my plan is 2-book reports (1 for English, and 1 for Chinese) each week. Basically I prefer extensive reading rather than exercise practising.

What is the volume of homework in P.3/P.5? Does it huge?
