raimondi college primary section is a private school. its top students can choose any band 1A government / subsidized schools at the discretionary stage. as long as they put RC as first choice in the central allocation, they can be "protected" by the reserved places from RC.
spcps is a DSS school. its student need to give up the through train place from SPC in order to participate in the SSPA. i believe not many spcps parents will do so. those allocated to KC may be through "knocking door" after the SSPA results are announced.
therefore, realistic choices for spcps parents who are looking for a better secondary school may be just the two other DSS schools - SPCC and DBS.
