Hello I teach RWI. I notice that the children can start to blend words around 14th to 18th lesson.By the end of foundation they're more than capable to start reading red ditty books.

Hi! 我係系㓜稚園做老師，學校係用Jolly Phonics，但我本身都有敎開RWI。我認為Letterland同RWI同步學係會混淆，因為佢地既發音同次序都好唔同，所以小朋友會亂唔出奇。不過RWI確實係好有幫助，建議唔好放棄。

Hello the best thing I would do is to practice blending at home. There are set words in the foundation set book. Try and practice them 2-3 times a week and not drill the words or they'll remember them instead of blending them. Also I use non existing words to try and get them to blend. For example R A B. That way you can see if they are really blending.
