可否分享一下妳對Birmingham這地方的印象如何？
我在去年暑假也到過伯明翰一天，個人感覺University of Birmingham收商科如經濟等科目一般都要GCE A Level 3科A，要求也不是太低。
不過要留意排十名以後而又有香港代理申請的英國大學一般都有三成以上的大陸學生，比例都幾高。但讀排名稍低的大學相對取得First Honour機會較高，如日後申請Oxbridge, UCL, LSE, Imperial讀Master都有入場卷，因這些一線大學的Master都要First Honour先申請得。我相信讀LSE纙First Honour會難過University of Birmingham。
近University of Birmingham的宿位一般都要成七千磅一年，但揀Selly Oak的宿位只需四千磅一年，但要步行近四十分鐘先到Main Campus，University of Birmingham的學校環境都幾好。
由University of Birmingham的Selly Oak station 或 University Station去伯明翰市中心New Street Station只需三分鐘的車程，非常方面，但作為家長，我會覺得伯明翰市中心非常複雜，因一出火車站，你會見到最少幾個警察守住火車站，因伯明翰只得近五成的白人，街上你會見到幾多中東人和黑人，入夜後都有幾多娛樂場所開業。如小朋友定力不夠，在伯明翰市中心都幾容易受毒品，黑社會及酒精引誘。
