Re: St Stephen's College Preparatory School
My daughter is admitted for Primary One for 2005/06. The competition is quite keen. I remembered on the day of interview, there're a lot of kids. All of them dressed like a prince/princess. So you can see the parents treat the interview seriously.
I've been considering whether to let my daughter study in this school or not since I received the acceptance letter a few months ago. I appreciate very much the language environment of this English primary school, i.e. English is taught by all native speakers and Chinese in Putunghua. However, the school fee is very high ($5,200/month + >$1,000/month of school bus fee + extra activities tuition fees) and the location is very remote. But, the most important thing is the standard of its secondary school. The academic standard of the secondary school is "below average". Even my friends who had their kids studying in this school advised me to have a second thought before deciding to study in this school. The situation is strange: high standard of primary school, but with low standard of secondary school. This is not acceptable to me. So, most probably, I'll choose another school for my daughter. |
