我個仔有申請離間K1，而且收佐。都是聽朋友話這間學校好好，所以報名。仲有校長講過，他們K2時會有ESF的學校招生人員到學校給那些想要報英基學校的學生給予初期的評估，到時Interview時會好很多。因為據我了解他們很多學生會入ESF Quarry Bay School。如果你想你的仔仔讀Local school，他們到K2後會有2條streams， one for local schools which study more chinese( including reading and writing, traditional Chinese); the other one will focus on international which less Chinese. I hope this is help you to have some ideas of this school.

Did ur son study nursery or playgroup there? 我聽過人地講哩間就算講完nursery都要考過k1, 唔會guarantee收返k1.

Btw, K2後會有2條stream，meaning k3才開始分開定k2開始？altho my boy is 11 mth now, id like to plan ahead n apply their playgroup already

bbnboot, you are welcome! My son is not study playgroup and nursery there. I just applied K1 for him this year. i remembered the principal was said usually 2 streams start from K2, semester 2. School will ask parents to fill up the form.
I'll suggest you to make a school tour, just contact the school to make an appointment. You will understand more about this school after that. As your baby still young, you can plan it well and earlier.

I don't know how many Chinese classes per week. Sorry for that. If you are thinking study at ESF, you don't need to do K3 as their Primary 1 start from 5 years old.

Thanks very much Michellesun1! 😊 may I ask if ur baby have studies at any playgroup or nursery prior applying k1 at kornhill?? Im thinking to let my boy join playgroup once or twice a week until k1. I'm not planning to have him study nursery.

Btw, are u planning to have ur baby study at ESF or will u prefer local stream?
