Hi Taimum,
I trust you appreciate that Devon is a big county. I just drove my boys to another part of Devon this morning for a junior badminton tournament - it took me about 70 minutes one way with NO traffic jam on a Sunday morning.
If the school is near the East Devon (I live in a small Jurrasic Town, Seaton, http://www.seaton.gov.uk/), I may be able to help by finding a retired British couple interested in becoming Host Family for a well-behaved, independent overseas student.
