想知道究竟有幾多小朋友係真係自己考入到國際學校而唔係用debenture換學位? 家姐個女今年升某國際幼稚園K3, 學校當然話debenture唔係一個must, 但究竟係咪真呢? 出年到我個女, 我好想知道等我們作好心理準備. debenture的錢話多唔多, 但要lock咁多年, 都真係變成考慮local定international的一個因素.

間間吾同，有d係吾使debenture，有d係收你先要買，吾會幫到你入。

有d debenture holder係有priority。

我兩個仔都無debenture. 收咗先比annual levy. 有debenture係有priority, 不過唔係必收。

我小朋友學校有debenture+capital levy, 兩樣都是compulsory, 收了先俾，所以冇pirority, 真是間間不同。

好想子女入讀該校而且又能負擔的家庭，才買 debenture。就當買隻藍籌股長線揸。教育本來就是長線投資。學校教育你小朋友當收息。debenture 十多年後升值，就更佳大歡喜。

非常有興趣知道有邊間 (除了 HARROW) debenture 係可退回、轉讓、仲有息收. 其他的莫說增值，無息保本不減值都算好了 (有錯請指正)

“學校教育你小朋友當收息", 所以間間都算有息收。

Debenture [債券] 本身原意就是應該可退回或轉讓的。所以大部份傳統IS的debenture都不會被「沒收」的。冇得退回那隻應該叫 levy [徵費], 係現在新的私校攪到啲 terminologies 有些亂龍。

為免街外人擋樓咁勁抄，不少學校都有智慧地監管，要求只是本校家長才能透過學校購買，價錢也按現時經濟形勢而調整昇覆。這方面CDNIS算做得幾好，其他傳統IS應該也是差不多掛?

以我所知好多debenture都係不退回的，有都要按年減值，又debenture，又levy，又nomination fee咁，名目一蘿蘿，五花百門，唔知仲有冇其它名目呢?

Harrow 有 ICC，which confuses the hell out of me. If my child is not planning to go to the school, i wouldn't bother with studying all the complicated structures and names and systems of each school, which at the end of the day, is just about taking more money out of parents on top of the already pricy tuition fee

Some schools offer priority to those holding CORPORATE debenture only. Many priority would not be 'activated' until your child pass the admission assessment. Be cautious.
For Harrow, you may pay annual capital levy instead of debenture.
