If one looks into the exam question long enough, it really is a wise question which requires the students' use of imagination, judgement and wisdom. It is true that there are tunes when keeping silent is a better choice (I always rember the story of a family on the metro where the kids where yelling and acting out so people on the train were scolding the dad, only to find out their mother just died). Anyhow it is one of the three options presented so the students may choose to answer two other questions. However, with the current sensitive political climate in HK, the exam board really didn't consider well enough the publics' reaction to this question. The question is itself is full of wisdom, but the board of examiners who picked this question at this time, on the other hand, is a bit foolish. |
