有小孩三歲可以開始學，有些要四歲，五歲或以上。
要看小朋有能力。

我女兒三歲開始 (她學 rwi)。同班有兩個同年紀的男孩，一個跟不上。最後分了班。

睇你幾多歲啦，如果要好有系統咁去拼音，可以由２－３歲開始慢慢教…
如果話淨係聽發音俾小朋友模仿學發音，１－２歲都可以開始

我仔三歲學…英文就從小開始接觸，而家三歲半基本上同外籍人士用全句英語溝通已沒有問題，所以佢學phonics的進度就可以好快

我囡囡學了RWI 已5個月,搵本英文書叫佢試讀,仍然咩都讀唔到? 考慮緊轉其他phonics

How old is your daughter? Can she converse in English?
If she's an English speaker and around 4years old, then you may also check with her tutor to find out if she is already taught blending. If she has, then she can begin practice reading some CVC words.
It takes some times to be able to decode and read fluently.

Ya I agree. It also depends on what he was learning during that 5 months. If it was 5 months of single sounds they wouldn't be able to read yet because new words requires decoding.

我孩子嵗半開始番 playgroup 學 Letterland，對 phonics 有了初步認識。孩子的幼稚園在PN及K1也是用Letterland，K2開始教 Synthetic Phonics,效果很好。

Yep, my son started when he was 3. Reading very well now. You should take a look at Hooked on Phonics if you are planning to teach at home. If you are going out to take classes, try a few before you decide. Teachers are very important. My son likes his teacher very much now!
